Hi! My name is Jana and I am a visual communication designer from Germany. I studied Information and Communication Design for my bachelor’s in Kamp-Lintfort, DE, and moved to the Netherlands to obtain a master’s degree in Information Design at Design Academy Eindhoven. A lot of my projects, in particular the most recent ones, derive from my interest in interspecies relationships. Exploring attitudes and anthropogenic activities affecting more-than-human life, I attempt to translate alternative perspectives related to aquatic life and the larger context of our relationship with the sea with these works. I like to dip into a variety of other subjects as well, however, and enjoy experimenting with different media forms and materials, including 3D animation, illustration, and photography.
